Welcome back to Oatlands Primary Murrundindi; it’s always an incredible experience for both our students and teachers to hear your story. Throwing the boomerang was pretty cool too!
Many thanks to Mrs Lewis and her band of students for coming to OPS this morning to give us an insight into life at secondary school. Wonderful speeches from Nora and Maheshwari, two former OPS students, about their experiences at Fountain Gate SC – beautifully spoken ladies! 🙂
Let’s see what today will bring for us Linda, Miss de Jong, Miss Epskamp and the lovely Mrs McKee! 🙂 Apologies Mel and Em-how could I have forgotten two of my favorite 5MD Sainters? ENJOY! 🙂 Here’s one for you too Mr Kenny and Hayden…oops…almost forgot you Sarah! 🙂
Today we were very lucky to have to police officers come in today and talk to us about all the crimes and the age we can be arrested at which is 10 years old! Which they also talk about different types of crimes like theft and assault. We were all really lucky to get to see the police.
Today we were so lucky to have 2 members of the police force come and to a presentation in the library. Leading Senior constable Steve and his partner senior constable Carol talked about the 3 main assaults committed by children. They were assults, theft and cyber bullying. All the grade 5’s gathered in the library to listen to the speech. Everyone enjoyed it. The video on the tv talked about the polices job. It was fantastic.
