Way back, on Tuesday May 17th, we welcomed Mums, Grandmums and even a Cousin to come and spend some time in 5MD, followed by sharing lunch-eating time together. Looking through work books, making a Pic Collage and intertwining fingers [that was the plan anyway] were shared, but the most important thing about the day was the special 1:1 time shared; there is no price that can be put on that!
Many THANKS to everyone who spent a part of their day in 5MD – it meant so much to us all! 🙂
WOW! I am feeling absolutely spoilt by some of the most stunning students on the grounds of O.P.S.!
After a little mishap with my Galileo thermometer, the kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity of Ebony, Bridey, Milly and Zoe [my sincere apologies for not writing your name too ZC!] to buy me a new thermometer left me speechless. I will treasure this always!
And then there’s Emma! WOW! To think of me when you’re at a special afternoon tea and to bring me a simply stunning cupcake [that did taste as delicious as it looks] was such a beautiful gesture and so kind, thoughtful and generous too!
🙂 Simply said…THANK-YOU..each and every one of you! 🙂
Welcome to the Pears. This video will show how to cook your meal. 🐈.
What a fantastic afternoon of Maths fun we had, helping and teaching our buddies Maths while doing MATHLETICS. We can’t wait for the ‘Mathletes of the Week’ announcement at assembly on Monday morning! Cover your ears O.P.S.!
I think the following says it all; don’t you Miss McBride? 🙂
I’m really looking forward to walking to school tomorrow with as many 5MD students as possible; actually, every OPS student is welcome to join us in our Walk to School Day tomorrow! I will be at the corner of Song Street and Winnie Court by 8:20 am, ready to depart by 8:30 am.
See you there! 🙂
NAPLAN 2016 is DONE! 🙂 Super effort 5MD! 🙂
Sending lots of love and happiness to the wonderful Mums and Nans of every 5MD student today. May your day be filled with many special memories, much laughter and lots of hugs too! 🙂

Nothing says time to correct homework than the wearing of Hi-Vis gear and being ready to use hi-vis highlighters; don’t forget Big Red’s always ready to go too! 🙂
Love your HI-VIS look too Em! 🙂
Check out the sensational Mathletics achievements of the following 5MD students who have worked super hard applying their Maths knowledge to A LOT of Mathletics tasks:
Paige [45 certificates], Olivia [50 certificates], Zoe [65 certificates], Thomas [50 certificates] and Riley 50 certificates].
🙂 Awesome work everyone – super proud of you all! 🙂
